On the Twelfth Day of Christmas

On the twelfth day of Christmas

My farm-sit tasked to me . . .

Chickens a clucking . . .

Harmonizing chickens a cooing . . .

Brown and white eggs to gather . . . with a little help from my friend . . .

Three guineafowl a chirping . . .

Four ducks a waddling . . .

A duck sporting a ducktail (of course!) . . .

Two geese a swimming . . .

Two brotherly cats . . .

Two Turtle Doves . . . huh? They're not turtle doves!

And a partridge in a pear tree!

All I want for Christmas is another snowy morning on the farm . . .

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone, from 25 miles west of the nation's White House :)
